Click here to order now. Are you ready for Advent? I'm not. When I think Advent, I think Christmas and then I really start to panic. I mean, all the preparations! The baking, shopping, cleaning, planning... I find it so easy to get pulled into the busyness of the Christmas season, and often, I am so distracted with the little details that I forget about the bigger picture. We all hear the typical "remember the reason for the season", but do we actually take into account what that means? It means that we are responsible to prepare ourSELVES for the coming of our Lord. Our minds and hearts need to be the first thing we get ready at the start of Advent and not the last minute scripture reflections, the week before Christmas. With that in mind, we decided to focus our devotional for December on "The Coming of our Lord".
