I like to know exactly what's going on, have my perfect plan to get things done, and to execute that perfect plan....perfectly.  When life doesn't play out the way I had it perfectly planned, I don't take it very well. I want to succeed at everything. Therefore, I often depend solely on myself to get things done correctly, and in an appropriate amount of time, instead of realizing that God always has  the   perfect plan  if I only thought to look to Him.  Trust is a difficult thing. All About Veritas

Veritas means 'Truth' in Latin, however, we have taken it from the full quote; "Veritas Christo et Ecclesiae" which means, "Truth for Christ and the Church." Veritas is a children's, daily devotional, geared to ages 7-13 (however, I'm sure anyone of any age would appreciate it's content). Each month is a different theme. January's theme was EVANGELIZATION so all of the readings, reflections, journal questions and prayers were wrapped around that theme. February's theme was SACRAMENTS and all the content was wrapped around that theme, etc. I'll give you a little back story for my reasoning in creating this devotional. My oldest daughter had finished her first communion classes, and was on fire for Jesus in the Eucharist. All the catechesis that she had received had created a beautiful passion for Our Lord, and she couldn't wait to receive Jesus for the first time.
