The Mysteries of the Rosary
It seems like Lent has just flown by, and we are just about finished with our spiritual preparations for Easter. But, what have we learned these past (almost) forty days? How have we grown? Will we continue to carry our lenten prayer routine forward? Will we maintain our momentum in our spiritual life that Lent has encouraged us in? Or, will we rejoice and “move on with our lives"?
Order May's Devotional Now
It is so easy to let go of our lenten obligations because we can, instead of allowing it to be a springboard for our faith. Why don’t we continue our daily scripture reflections? Why don’t we continue our extra time in front of the Blessed Sacrament? Why don’t we continue praying the Rosary together as a family?
As a family of seven, I understand that is so much easier to minimize and to cut back on anything extra in our routine to save sanity. But, why is it that the things we cut out are the most vital to maintaining our sanity, to our survival?
Something we as a family have not been overly successful in is praying a daily Rosary. That is something that I hope to use this lenten season as a springboard for…a continuation of our sanctification.
This is part of the reason I was inspired to make theme for May’s VERITAS, "The Mysteries of the Rosary."
Week one: The Joyful Mysteries
Week two: The Luminous Mysteries
Week three: The Sorrowful Mysteries
Week four: The Glorious Mysteries
I would like to invite you to join my family in looking deeper into the meditations of the Rosary, and to come into a more intimate relationship with Mary our Mother.
If you would like to give the gift of VERITAS to someone receiving one of the sacraments, a godchild, grandchild, niece or nephew, please click here to order.
